Stapled around pin is a faded purple ribbon, slightly frayed at the bottom. In silver inscribed across, "30th ANNUAL / DEPARTMENT / CONVENTION / Italian American / War Veterans of the / United States / Waterbury, Conn. / July 24 - 25 - 26, 1964".
