DescriptionEnvelope-style wool pocketbook. Irish stitch worked in lozenges outlined in black. Predominant colors are shades of olive to gold, shades of pink and coral, and shades of aqua. The pocketbook opens to reveal two compartments, with sides of accordian-folded pink plain-woven wool. This same wool lines the pocketbook. All edges are bound with tan twill-woven wool tape. The embroidery is worked on linen canvas. There is an interlining of plain-woven coarse linen.
