Object number2011.492.9
InscribedOn verso, upper left, in black ink, "School picture / Guy Whitney in front row center right."; lower right, in pencil, accession numberNotesSubject Note: One of the small boys in the front of the photograph is identified as Guy Whitney. According to the 1900 Federal Census, Guy Whitney was born in 1889; he was the son of Frank L. Whitney and Minnie L. Whitney of New Hartford. The teacher, Edwin C. Howard was boarding with the family in 1900. Howard may be the man standing at the far right of this photograph. The school building appears to be the same one that appears in 2011.492.7.
