DescriptionChildren are watching puppets representing a matador and a bull on the stage of a "Puppet Theatre" that occupies the stern of a small boat with smokestacks and railing in imitation of an old-fashioned steamboat. Some of the children appear to be African-American. A large toy giraffe is in the window of a barn in the left background. A picket fence, a crowd of people, and trees, including a large pine tree, are in the right background.
