DescriptionStadium seating covered with an awning flanks a racetrack. Two large figures of toy soldiers stand at either end of the seats. Flags fly from flagpoles. Large stuctures resembling rockets flank the entrance. A chain link fence is in the foreground.

Subject Note: The Danbury Fair was an annual exhibition held in Danbury between 1821 and 1981. At first a traditional agricultural fair, the event later included large fiberglass sculptures, stock car racing, and amusement park rides. The former fairground is now (2011) the site of the Danbury Fair Mall. (Finlay 3/25/2011)
