DescriptionPlain-woven, white cotton (like a light-weight canvas) pants with a button fly closure. The pants have straight legs. The waistband is seamed at center back, where it is shaped with a dip; six bone buttons along the waistband accomodate suspenders. The pants' fit is adjustable at center back just below the waistband by means of a strap, which retains its original brass buckle. Pockets over each hip are covered with L-shaped flaps, which button with a self-covered button. The buttons in the fly are bone, like those on the waistband, and are covered by the placket. There is a watch pocket on the proper right side. The pockets and waistband lining are of plain-woven white cotton, sheeting weight.
