DescriptionA political cartoon: three kittens or cats are playing in a Liberty Cap, which rests on an American flag draped over a table. The two white kittens wear collars which read "JEFF" and "ABE." The black kitten is in the background with a ribbon around his neck that reads "CONTRABAND." In the left foreground, three dice are showing three sixes. At lower right, three dice show a three and two ones. In the background, there is a large bitters bottle with a label that reads "LINCOLN BLACKSTRAP / DIRECTIONS. / One dose immediately,/ another / JANUARY 1, 1863. Continue if necessary / and follow up with/ HOT HERBS./ PREPARED / BY THE UNION COMPANY. H. Greeley, Agent."
