"Wm Wilson / Pulley Poles / and Poles of All Kinds / Furnished and Placed / Large Trees / and / Branches Removed." "M. Baker / Rush / Seats / Cabinetmaking / & / Redecorating." Theatrical broadsides posted on wall and windows, read in part: "Parsons Theatre May .20 / Farewell / of / Forbes - Robertson / with his London Company / Hamlet / The Light That Failed / Passing of the Third Floor Back" "Grand [Theater] / Hello / Paris" "Palace [Theater] / Kinkaid Kilties" "Merry / Maids" "Seven Keys / to Baldpate / Polis / Week of May 17"
"Polis / Week of May 10 / Ready / Money" A sign stenciled on the shop window of the building at left reads: "Uneeda Lunch". Utility poles, an electric street light and a fire hydrant are on the sidewalk in the foreground. Two men, slightly blurred from movement, are at the right.
