DescriptionBrick and stone commercial buildings line a city street. Some have striped awnings, heavy cornices, balustrades, balconies, or plate glass shop windows. Striped poles near the corner indicates the presence of a barber shop. Signs read: "W.H. SCOVILLE" "...FOR POST CARDS" "...TIMES" "CITY GAS LIGHT COMPANY" "JOHN COOMBS FLORIST" "L.A. WILEY [& S]ON." Two bicycles are parked beside the curb. Utility poles and trolley poles line the street. A man or woman is visible through an open casement window at the far right.
