DescriptionA frame hotel building has brick chimneys, louvered shutters. a porch with brackets, and awnings and shop windows on the ground floor. An electric light hangs over the door. Signs read: "ARLINGTON HOUSE" "S.H. ALLEN" "WHOLESALE / RETAIL - BERRY & COSGROVE. - WINES / & / LIQUORS." "JAMES CUNNINGHAM - 447". A menu appears to be written in chalk on a blackboard beside the door. The commercial building at the right is a photographer's studio and has a skylight and windows in the roof and signs that read: "449 / OLSEN / PHOTOGRAPHER" "The Finest - 451 / PHOTOGRAPHS, / INDIA INKS, / WATER COLORS, / CRAYONS. / Lowest Prices." "GEO. H. WEEKS". Other signs read: "STABLES / [PHE]LPS & CO." "FURNITURE WAREROOMS". Men wearing suits and derby hats stand on the paved sidewalks.
