DescriptionWhite cotton infant dress, fashioned with raglan-style sleeves. The seaming of the sleeves has machine-made insertion simulating faggoting. The long sleeves are trimmed with the insertion and machine-made bobbin lace. The center front of the dress is stitched with three 4 1/4-inch long box pleats, stitched on top with white featherstitching. The wide neckline is trimmed with the bobbin-type lace. The dress closes at center back with a drawstring at the neckline (now broken off) of silk ribbon in a peach color. On either side of the opening is another embroidered box pleat. The hem is 2 3/4 inches wide.
