Accession number appears inside cover, lower right, in ink.NotesSubject Notes: 1983.144.2.30 is a photograph of Charles E. McGlaflin of Hartford. McGlaflin enlisted in the United States Army on April 18, 1861 and mustered into Rifle Company A, First Connecticut Volunteers as a private. On July 1, 1862 McGlaflin was promoted to Sergeant. He re-enlisted under Veteran status on February 17, 1864. On September 19, 1864 he was wounded at Winchester, Virginia. McGlaflin was discharged from the Army on December 2, 1864.On View
