DescriptionSmall piece of green and white silk mounted on a note card. The fragment consists of two sections of green silk with a section of white silk hand sewn between them. The thread used to stitch the pieces together is fairly thick and similar to that which would be used for fringe. The fragment is mounted on a paper note card with a caption at the bottom that reads, "Piece of a flag taken by Charles the / 12th from "Peter the Great" Czar of Russia. Presented by Silas E. Burrows."
