DescriptionMan's silk necktie in dark green woven with water-patterned weave. A design of brighter green, red, blue and white swirls is woven on the dark green ground. The front tip ends in a broad point; the back tip is narrower. The tie is unlined but has an interface lining of woven white fabric. The narrow end has a retailer's label woven in white thread on a black background: " G. FOX & CO./ Est. 1847 HARTFORD"
The broader end has a manufacturer's label of brown and blue letters woven onto an ecru silk label decorated with a game bird: "AMERICAN / GAME BIRDS RUFFLED GROUSE / CHENEY CRAVATS"
