DescriptionSquare plastic paperweight with bronze medallion in the center. The medallion has relief designs on both sides, an oak tree is in the middle of one side. "Beatrice Fox Auerbach" is inscribed on one of the narrow panels.

MarkingsThe medallion in the center of the paperweight has relief markings on both sides. On the front side, "The Charter Oak / Greater Hartford Chamber of Commerce" is printed along the top and bottom edges. "Charter Oak Leadership Medal / Hartford's / Charter Oak was / the hiding place of the / Charter of 1662. The first / grant of self Government to / mankind. This Leadership Medal is presented in / dedication to the course / of Freedom, Liberty / and Leadership. / Hartford, Conn, Cradle of Freedom" is printed on the back.InscribedOn front "Beatrice Fox Auerbach" is engraved
