DescriptionLarge sweat shirt made of white cotton and polyester. The sweat shirt has long sleeves, with fitted cuffs at the end of the sleeves. The waistline of the sweatshirt is also fitted.
The decoration on the front is printed in green, blue, silver, and red ink. "25" in red letters and "YEARS" in blue letters is above a silver sunburst. Laid over the sunburst is a blue hockey stick with the date 1975, crossed over a red hockey stick with the date 2000. A blue hockey puck between the sticks reads, "OF". A green banner with blue trim below the hockey sticks reads, "HARTFORD HOCKEY" in white letters trimmed in blue.
Thee hockey team logos are printed left to right across the design described above. At left, three lime green concentric circles are printed in black with "NEW ENGLAND/ WHALERS" around a white "W". A harpoon crosses horizontally across the logo. The Hartford Wolf Pack logo is on top of the hockey sticks: a silver and blue wolf over the words, "HARTFORD/ WOLF*PACK" in silver and red letters. To the right, a lime green circle encloses a silver area. Inside the silver area, a green "W" over a blue stylized tail forms the stylized image of a whale.
The back of the sweat shirt has the same design as the front, but it is monochrome silver on the back. Superimposed over the logo in blue lettering is a vertical time line of "FAMOUS DATES IN HARFORD HOCKEY HISTORY". The time line begins on January 11, 1975, and it ends on October 7, 2000.

MarkingsTwo white fabric tags are machine-stitched into the back of the neckline, one over the other. The tag on top is printed in red and blue, "Hanes®/ COMFORTBLEND®/ printpro®". The bottom tag is printed with materials content in Spanish, French, and English. The English portion reads, "50% COTTON/50% POLYESTER/ USA MADE COMPONENTS ASSEMBLED IN MEXICO/ CARE ON REVERSE/ ADULT L (42-44) / G/ G". The back of the tag is printed in blue with care instructions in English, French, and Spanish.A white paper sales tag is attached with a plastic string to the fabric tags at the neck of the sweat shirt. One white sticker on the tag is printed "195/ #35.00". This is placed over a white sticker that reads, "$12.00". Both stickers have a line crossed through them with orangy-yellow marker.
