Playing / more than 40 games a year at one of / the American Hockey League's premier / facilities, the Hartford Civic Center, the / Wolf Pack reached the pinnacle of AHL / success when they captured / the presti- / gious Calder Cup in 2000, bringing the / city of Hartford its first-ever pro hockey / championship. In the club's first three / seasons, 41 different Wolf Pack players / went on to see action in the NHL, / demonstrating Madison Square Garden's / commitment to excellence both in New / York and in Hartford."
