DescriptionRectangular box lid (bottom missing) made of cardboard with printed paper glued to top and all four sides. Paper is off white with a green geometric pattern printed all over; a white rectangular paper label printed with black ink is glued to the box lid and reads: "FROM/ MRS. HINCKLEY'S/ FASHIOABLE/ MILLINERY & FANCY STORE./ No. 403 Main St./ HARTFORD. CONN./ A large assortment of SILK and STRAW HATS, constantly/ on hand. - Ladies Caps and Head Dresses./ A complete assortment of Mourning Millinery./ Dress and Mourning Hats, made to order at short notice."
