DescriptionTwo red paper cylinders, each consisting of five rolls gunpowder caps, each in its own paper box. The boxes are printed in red and blue. One side of each box is printed, "M. BACKES' SONS, INC/ MADE/ IN U.S.A./ WALLINGFORD, CONN." Two sides of each box are printed, "REPEATING PAPER CAPS". The third side is printed with an eight pointed star in the middle; to the left of the star is "STAR/ BRAND", and to the right of the star is, "ROLL CAPS". Both folded openings of each box are printed, "250/ 5 ROLLS/ SHOTS".
