DescriptionRectangular pink paper sheet of metal pins. The pins are arranged in two vertical columns, each with four horizontal rows of pins. The upper row of pins on the right side is missing, because that portion of the paper is torn off. The bottom row of each column is missing almost all the pins, but holes remain in the paper where the pins used to be.

The front of the paper has a design printed in black ink. Flowers and squiggles frame the edge, and there is a bird with outstretched wings toward the center. Printed in black ink below the bird is, "HOWE'S/ SOLID HEADED/ PINS/ MADE BY THE/ HOWE MANUFACTURING Co./ BIRMINGHAM./ CONN."

MarkingsPrinted in black ink on the middle and bottom of the paper is, "HOWE'S/ SOLID HEADED/ PINS/ MADE BY THE/ HOWE MANUFACTURING Co./ BIRMINGHAM./ CONN."
