DescriptionCast pewter plate with a single bead at the outer edge of the 1 1/16-inch-wide rim, a shallow well, and an incised line circling the bottom of the well. The plate is lightly scratched. The rim is dented and bent at one side, around a small recessed hole in the rim.

MarkingsThe underside of the plate has a mark consisting of "THOMAS D" in an arch, over an eagle with outstretched wings and a shield-shaped body, above "BOARDMAN" in an inverted arch.
