DescriptionMan's white track and field shoes with black laces. A black Nike swoosh is stitched to either side of each shoe. A lime green line edged in black is below the laces on each shoe. The sole is lime green, textured with lime green squares all over and seven black dots on the toes.

MarkingsStitched in lime green letters on the back of the heel is, "NIKE"

Raised letters on the sole of the shoe read, "NIKE®"

A black cloth label with lime green lettering is sewn onto the exterior of tongue. It reads, "NIKE®/ THE WAFFLE RACER"

Stamped onto the insole is "NIKE®" over the Nike swoosh

A white cloth tag with black letters is sewn onto side of insole. It reads, "MADE IN REP. OF KOREA", followed by sizing information.
InscribedHandwritten in black ink on the side of the left shoe near the sole is, "STATE OPEN CHAMPIONS 1991 X.C. / RIGHTFUL NEW ENGLAND CHAMPIONS".

Handwritten in black ink on the side of the right shoe near the sole is, "ECC Champion Class LL Champion".
NotesHistorical Note: Chad Johnson was a cross-country runner at Norwich Free Academy. He was a two-time Class LL and Connecticut State Open champion in 1991 and 1992, and he finished third in the New England Championship. Johnson also won the Windham Invitational three times and was an all-state selection four times. (Hudson 7/27/2006)
