Roxana Phelps Clark

BiographyRoxana Phelps Clark was born in Litchfield, Connecticut on 28 August 1803, the daughter of Stephen and Roxana Clark. She attended Miss Pierce's School in Litchfield around 1818-1819. Roxana P. Clark married Samuel Penfield Bolles (1795-1875) on 27 May 1824. They were married by the Reverend Lyman Beecher. They had at least five children: Roxana C. (1826-1846); Penfield (1831-1835); Sarah Margaret (b. 1836); Mary P. (1842-1843); and Mary R. (b. 1846).
Roxana died on 7 January 1892 in New Haven, Connecticut.
