William Damerum

BiographyWilliam Damerum was the general surveyor for the state of New York in 1819 when he compiled, drew, and published his Map of the southern part of the state of New York including Long Island, the Sound, the state of Connecticut, part of the state of New Jersey, and islands adjacent. According to the New York Genealogical Records, he was also an architect. His birth and death dates are not known.
