BiographyIn 1834 and 1835, Nathaniel Currier was in partnership with a New York lithographer named Stodart, issuing prints under the name Stodart & Currier. Currier went into business for himself in 1835; his more famous partnership with James Merritt Ives was not formed until 1857.
