Laura Lucinda Case

American, 1824 - 1905
BiographyLaura Lucinda Case was born 23 February 1824 in Canton Center, Connecticut. She was the daughter of Norman Case (1793-1865) and Almira Woodruff Case (1789-1831) of Canton, Connecticut. Laura Case had five siblings: Henry Woodruff (1817-1824); Fanny Maria (1819-1843); Albert Allen (b. 1821); Henry Woodruff (b. 1827); and George Emmet (b. 1829). Laura Case married John Brown (1812-1886), the widower of her sister Fanny, on 1 November 1843. They had five children: George Emerson (1844-1845); a son who died in infancy (December 1845-January 1846); Fannie Almira (Mrs. Anson Walter Case) (b. 1848); John Abiel (b. 1859); and Laura Florilla (Mrs. Fred C. Stotts) (b. 1862). Laura Case Brown died 25 June 1905 in Collinsville, Hartford County, Connecticut.
