BiographyEllen LeMasney Sweeney was born about 1785. She from County Cork, Ireland to the United States in about 1846. Ellen LeMasney married a member of the Sweeney family, possibly Jobia Sweeney. They had at least one daughter, Mrs. Daniel Mangan, of Hartford, Connecticut. Ellen LeMasney Sweeney died at her daughter's home at 140 Asylum Avenue on 30 January 1886. The family was not exactly certain of her age, but they believed her to be 101.
