BiographyAccording to museum records, not verifiable at the time of cataloging, John L. Hawkinson was the Secretary of the Hartford Faience Company sometime in the 1930s. Some objects owned by the Connecticut Historical Society are stamped "Hawkinson Porcelain", a mark which may or may not be associated with the Hartford Faience Company. More research needs to be done to determine the relationship between Hawkinson and the Hartford Faience Company.
