BiographyEbenezer Prentis was the son of John (b. 1738) and Bridget Rogers Prentis. He was born in Richmond, Virginia, on 29 August 1788. He married Rebecca M. Gager in New London, Connecticut, on 20 March 1817, and they had five children: Sarah Fultan Prentis; Harriet Caper Prentis; John Fultan Prentis; George House Prentis; and Browse Trist Prentis.
Ebenezer Prentis was Color Sergeant in the Third Connecticut Regiment during The War of 1812. He died in Detroit, Michigan, on 13 April 1868.
