Charles Cyprian Strong II

Charles Cyprian Strong II was born 17 June 1881 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of Florence Jewell Strong and William H. Strong (1851-1921). His grandfather was Governor Marshall Jewell. Charles C. Strong II married Mary Millicent Ashbrook; they had two children, Jewell and Charles, but both died in childhood.

Charles C. Strong II worked for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad in Detroit, Michigan, as a Special Engineer. He retired in 1949, and he and his wife moved to Birmingham, Alabama. He died 27 October 1962. Charles C. Strong II and his wife are both buried in Hollywood Cemetery in Richmond, Virginia.
