BiographyTheodore Spicer-Simson was born in France on 25 June 1871, the first son of Frederick John Simson and Dora Mary Spicer. He was educated in various boarding schools in London, Germany, and France.
He married Margaret Schmidt in Washington, D.C. on 1July 1896. The couple moved to Paris at the outbreak of the Spanish-American War. They later moved to Florida. He remained in the United States until his death on 1 February 1959.
He was a medal and medallion sculptor.
