BiographyJohn F. Watson was a lithographer who was active in Philadelphia from 1835 to 1861. For most of this period, his business was located at the southeast corner of Fourth and Walnut Streets. Maps in the Connecticut Historical Society bear the imprint "Watson's Lith." with this address. Watson is also listed as daguerreotypist in the 1841 Philadelphia city directory.
