DescriptionBlown and cut colorless glass smelling bottle. The slender, elongated smelling bottle has a cylindrical neck, low sloping shoulders, slightly tapered square sides, and a flat bottom. Two sides of the smelling bottle have a row of four cut ovals. The smelling bottle is decorated with gilding at the rim and foot. Each oval is outlined in gilding and decorated with small sprays of leaves over horizontal lines. The other two sides of the smelling bottle have a long gilt vine with small leaves on either side. The smelling bottle would have had a stopper at one time (now missing). The gilding on the body of the smelling bottle is slightly worn.
