DescriptionRectangular appliqué quilt, or cradle quilt, consisting of a top of plain-woven white cotton, batting, and a plain-woven white cotton backing; the three layers are joined with a hand-stitched quilting pattern of diagonal lines and a chain border. The appliqué pattern consists of three flowers in the center of an oval wreath; the applique pattern is made using pink, red and green cotton. Each edge of the quilt has a straight-grain fabric binding.

Condition: The quilt has yellowed and has some dark stains or rust spots.
