DescriptionHigh Victorian Gothic government building with towers and a central dome topped by a statue of a winged female figure. The windows have pointed arches. The roofline is broken by dormer windows, turrets, crockets, and finials. Men and women walk on the sidewalk. Horse-drawn vehicles and horseback riders are in the driveway in the foreground. The trees of Bushnell Park are in the background.

NotesDate Note: Kellogg & Bulkeley first appear at 175 Pearl Street in the 1874 Hartford City Directory. Elmer M. White does not appear as an agent until later in the 1870s, so it is probable that the print dates to the latter part of the decade. (Finlay 7/27/2004)
