DescriptionView of six men and five women standing outdoors in wedding attire. The men all wear suits and have boutonnieres. The women are wearing long white dresses with high collars and are holding large bouquets. The bride, Alice Elizabeth Cheney, is wearing a veil and a crown of flowers. The men stand slightly behind the women, forming two rows. The people are, from left to right: Sherwood Alfred Cheney (1873-1949), Ednah Parker Cheney (1873 - ?), Thomas "Tom" Langdon Cheney (1879-1916), Adeline Louise Cheney (1870-1955), Clifford Dudley Cheney (1877-1948), Alice "Cass(a)" Elizabeth Cheney (1870-1969), Philip "Phil" Cheney (1878-1948), Emily Grace Cheney (1876-1953), Russell Cheney (1881-1945), Theodora "Dora" Cheney (1874-1951), and William "Will" Coates Cheney (1864-1941).
NotesAlice "Cassa" Elizabeth Cheney and Clifford Dudley Cheney were married in 1904. Cassa was the daughter of John Sherwood Cheney and Ellen Coates. Cliff was the son of Knight Dexter Cheney and Ednah Dow Smith. Cassa and Cliff were second cousins, sharing the same great-grandparents, George Cheney and Electa Woodbridge.

The members of their wedding party were all Cheneys. Sherwood, Emily and Will were Alice's siblings. Ednah, Tom, Phil, Russell and Dora were all Clifford's siblings. Adeline was probably Alice's first cousin, the daughter of James Woodbridge and Harriet Cheney.
