The people seated on the rock are, from left to right: possibly Louis Richmond Cheney (1859-1944), an unidentified woman, Harriet Bowen Cheney (1867-1938), possibly Robert Cheney (1859-1935), possibly Harry Grant Cheney (1852-1918), Elizabeth "Bess" Cheney (1865-1898) and Helen Cheney (1868-1937). Frank Cheney, Jr. (1860-1957) is seated at bottom right.
