NotesSubject Note: On February 1, 1978 the 425 Connecticut residents who visited Tel Aviv, Israel for an eight-day Friendship Flight returned to Bradley International Airport. The purpose of The Friendship Flights was designed to promote friendship and peace among the United States' and Israel's citizens. Chip Carter, President Carter's son, met with local politicians.
