DescriptionPortrait of Mary Frances Miller at the age of 3 or 4. She has dark hair parted in the middle and falling in ringlets to her shoulders. She is wearing a deep rose dress, the neck cut low and straight across, leaving her shoulders bare. Just below the neck and short sleeves is an embroidered leaf design in a light color. In her right hand, she is holding a doll with a blue dress and dark hair, and in her left hand she is holding a white flower to the doll's face. The background is light grayish brown.
