DescriptionWoman's unboned corset of white, twill-woven cotton. The corset is shaped in front with two gussets set into the top edge to accommodate the bust. The corset consists of a center front panel, side panels, two back panels, and shoulder straps. The center back opening edges are set with bone eyelets for a lacing. A single cord is laid along each edge for strength and stability. The shoulder straps are 2 1/8 inches wide are slightly slanted towards the outside of the shoulder. The neckline is wide and square. The neckline and armholes are bound with plain-woven white cotton, which appears to be the same fabric used for the lining.
