DescriptionA badge for Henry F. Smith of Lincoln Lodge, No. 5 of the Knights of Pythias in Hartford, Conn. The upper part of the metal is bronze and has a pin on the reverse. The bottom part is silver in the shape of an upside-down triangle with decorations around the edges. In the upper left corner is a raised "F" and in the upper right corner is a raised "C." On the reverse side, the name of the owner, the lodge, and the location are engraved.

The Order of Knights of Pythias was the first American Order chartered by an Act of the Congress of the United States.
