DescriptionChild's dress of white cotton, printed in red and brown with a finely dotted pattern. The neckline is wide and gathered on two rows of drawstrings. The resulting ruffled edge is trimmed with bobbin lace. The short sleeves are also gathered on two rows of drawstrings and trimmed with bobbin lace. The raglan-type armhole seam is piped. The bodice is gathered from the waistband to the neckline. The waistband is one inch wide and is piped along both edges. The full skirt is gathered to the waistband. It has a 1 5/8-inch-wide tuck taken two inches above the bottom edge. The center back opening extends 12 1/4 inches and fastens with a white porcelain button at the waistband and a mother of pearl button at the neckline. The waistband is lined with plain, white cotton.
