NotesSubject note: The coat of arms did hang over the Speaker's Chair in the Hall of Representatives in Connecticut's colonial legislature. It was removed from this position during the American Revolution, and is said to have been later exhibited in the Hartford Museum (Reverend Joseph Steward's Museum), which was in operation from 1797 until at least 1840.On View
