The case is embossed on paper, black but with some of the tan wood (or cardboard) showing through from wear. Embossed is a central medalion with a patterned border. It has a small golden latch on the outside, but the bottom half of the latch seems to be missing. On the inside, the left has a layer of red velvet with an embossed central medalion and a patterned border. On the right is the photograph of Starr.
