DescriptionThree images of the funeral of Phineas T. Barnum. The upper image, a wood engraviing, shows Barnum's grave surrounded by a crowd of children and filled with flowers. A small vignette shows the open grave and the memorial monument. The lower image, a halftone, shows a hearse drawn by two white horses surrounded by a crowd of mourners, mostly men in bowler hats. A large brick church is in the background.
