DescriptionGirl's dress of fine white cotton, with a T-shaped yoke across the shoulders, embroidered with a flowering vine pattern in blue thread. The bodice is smocked around the yoke, again with blue thread. The neckline is high and square, outlined with a line of blue embroidery. The sleeves are 13 1/2 inches long, and are gathered into the shoulder and into the cuff, which is also embroidered with the floral vine in blue. The dress skirt falls straight from the smocking under the yoke. The dress opens at center back for about 13 1/4 inches. It fastens in the area of the yoke and smocking with five pairs of mother of pearl shank buttons, connected by a thread loop.
