DescriptionGroup of seven men and eight women pose outdoors on a grassy lawn. All appear to be African American. Some of the men have beards or mustaches. Some people hold books, probably hymnals. One man sits on a stool beside a piano or organ. The man immediately to the right of the piano appears to wear a clerical collar. A wooden fence, a brick building, a shed, and trees are in the background. Inscribed beneath image, "A.M.E. Choir."
NotesSubject Note: Part of a group of Carrington family photographs. The group members are probably friends and relatives of the Carrington family of Norwich.
