DescriptionAn African American man stands on the sidewalk beside a lamp post in front of a two-story brick building with three doors and three tall windows. The cornerstone at the right is engraved, "1876." A stone inset at the top of the building reads, "A.M.E.C. / Rebuilt 1876."
NotesSubject Note: Part of a group of Carrington family photographs. The man, who may be the minister of the church, is probably a friend of the Carrington family of Norwich.
