DescriptionThree-story frame hotel building with porches on all three floors and louvered shutters at the windows. A sign reads: "Griswold House." Men, a woman and a dog sit and stand on the porches. A lamp is at the left corner of the building and a row of hitching posts lines the sidewalk. A horse-drawn wagon is at the left. The vehicle at the right appears to be drawn by two mules.
NotesSubject Note: Griswold House was subsequently known as the Griswold Inn.

Medium Note: Evidently a later copy of an early photograph.
