DescriptionTwo men, one holding a staff and one holding two horses, stand in front of a two-story center-chimney house with a second-story overhang. One of the horses is blurred from movement. A woman and a small barefoot boy sit on the ground. A child's wagon is nearby. The house is on a sloping site with a terrace built of large stones in front edged with a picket fence. The small building on the left may be an outhouse.
